2 July 2003 Amstrad plc to promote One.Tel directory enquiry number on all its e-mailer superphones Amserve Ltd, the Amstrad plc subsidiary and One.Tel, the UK’s leading alternative telecommunications provider, have agreed to extend and expand upon their relationship. Building upon the success of the advertisements of One.Tel’s services on Amstrads e-m@iler superphones, the companies have teamed up to promote the One.Tel directory enquiry number 118 111. * Through the tie up with Amserve Ltd, customers
will have instant access to the new low cost and effective One.Tel directory
enquiry service. Prompted via a series of adverts, displayed directly
on all the e-m@iler screens, the 118 111 number will be easily accessible
to over 1 million e-m@ilerplus users. The e-m@iler is perfect for those
who have difficulty remembering the new 118 numbers. One touch will connect
users directly to One.Tel’s 118 111 number. As well as featuring
adverts on all of the e-mailers large LCD screens, the 118 111 number
will be permanently embedded into the SERVICES area of the entire e-m@iler
base. Simon Sugar, Amstrad’s commercial director said: “ We chose to work exclusively with the One.Tel directory enquiry service because it offers good value to our e-m@iler customer base. The extension of our relationship is a reflection of the mutual respect we have for One.Tel and their commitment as a company to offering, service, value for money and ease of use - Goals we both share.
