Halifax to become the latest big name to advertise on the Amstrad e-m@iler
superphone
Following the success of recent advertisements for BT
Sky and AOL, Halifax Bank of Scotland, the UKs leading mortgage and savings
bank, is the latest to sign up to advertise on the Amstrad e-m@iler superphone.
The activity, booked by Vizeum, sees both secured lending and mortgages
embedded in the home phone boasting email and Internet access.
Tim Male, Head of Advertising and Media at Halifax Bank of Scotland says
"The e-m@iler offers us an innovative way of driving leads. A potential
customer sees an advert on the screen and is able to press a button to
be directly connected to a sales person. Its a very effective and accountable
route to market."
Simon Sugar, Amstrad's commercial director, points out ''Halifax's wide
range of financial services are a great fit with the e-m@iler and its
audience. Halifax join the likes of Sky, BT and AOL in seeing the value
the e-m@iler brings to the media mix.''
The Amstrad e-m@iler base continues to grow daily, encouraging more blue
chip companies to advertise through this unique billboard in the home.
